'Hoose' is a new Central Edinburgh-based handyman and home services business. Design-trained and with an eye for detail we deliver high-quality results without hassle or drama.
From small repairs, painting and furniture assembly, to laying floors, designing and building storage systems, we'll take the weight off your shoulders. Because we want to help you and your guests get more pleasure from your home and garden.

Hourly rates

We operate a flat £60 call-out fee

Hourly rates £60 hour / £30 half hour

10% Discounts for full-day rate

Out-of-hours and weekend working available at a 20% premium

Materials can be sourced and provided at cost plus time

Wherever possible we use products that combine the best performance with the least environmental impact
Payment terms

50% cost of materials before commencing job

Full payment by bank transfer on completion inc. time and outstanding materials
Parking LEZ and travel

To keep parking costs to a minimum, reduce congestion and get around quicker we are investing in LEZ friendly e-cargo bikes. In choosing us you'll also be doing your bit to address the shared challenges of climate change

Travel within the central area is included, travel outwith will be charged at hourly rates (pro rata)
